Down South Land Solutions is a land clearing, forestry mulching and excavating outfit working out of Berry, in Fayette County, across eight west Alabama counties.
Who You Are Actually Hiring
A lot of the land clearing sites you will find for this part of Alabama are not local outfits at all. They are national templates with a city name dropped in, a phone number from somewhere else and a form on the end.
We are the other thing. Down South is based in Berry, in Fayette County. We run our own machines, and the phone is answered by somebody who runs them.
The work is simple to describe and hard to do well: take ground that is grown up, rough, wet or the wrong shape, and leave it open, graded and ready for what comes next. That might be a house, a shop, a pasture, a food plot, a drive that stops washing, or just woods you can walk through.
What We Run
A Cat dozer for clearing and grade work. Cat and Kubota compact track loaders for mulching, one with a drum head and one with an FAE head. An excavator for footings, stumps, culverts and trenches. Everything is on tracks, which is why the machines can work soft ground and finished areas without leaving ruts across them.

How We Price and How We Talk
Estimates are free and we would rather look at the ground than guess at it. If mulching is the wrong answer for your property we will say so, even though it is the service we would rather sell. If a job needs a permit or an engineer's drawing first, you will hear that too.
