Down South Land Solutions LLC ("we," "us") operates this website. This page explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it. It is written to be read.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you fill in the estimate form or call or text, we collect your name, phone number, the address or area your property is in, the service you need, and whatever you tell us about the job. We collect this because we cannot price work without it. Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the servers that host this one record basic technical information: the pages visited, the approximate region a visit came from, the type of device and browser, and the site that referred you. This is aggregate traffic data used to understand which pages are useful. It is not used to identify you personally.
Cookies
This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Essential browser storage keeps the site working and remembers your cookie choice. The live chat window is provided by a third party (LeadConnector). It loads on every page so you can ask a question at any time, and it sets its own cookies to keep the conversation going. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page, and you can clear stored data in your browser settings. Declining does not limit any part of the site.
How we use your information
To respond to your enquiry, prepare an estimate, schedule and carry out work, invoice for it, and keep ordinary business records. If you become a customer we may contact you about the job itself. We do not add you to a marketing list because you asked for a quote.
Who we share it with
Your information is never sold, traded or rented. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, for example the company that hosts this website and the customer management software that receives the estimate form, and only to the extent they need it to provide that service. We will disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become jobs are kept for a reasonable period in case you come back, then discarded. Records relating to work carried out are kept as long as ordinary business and tax record-keeping requires.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call or text (205) 535-6376 or use the contact form and say what you want done. If you asked us to contact you and have changed your mind, tell us and we will stop.
Text messages
If you text us, give us a number, or tick the consent box on the estimate form, we may text you about your estimate, scheduling and project updates. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply. Reply STOP at any time and we will not text you again, or HELP for help. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
Children
This site is intended for adults arranging work on property. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS and we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. No website or method of transmission is completely secure.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
